Two more Teaching Heroes

Hello Heroes!

We are midway through September and have a lot of great beginning of the year diaries so far! Keep it up heroes. It is not only important to hear your story at the start of a new year, but how experiences change and develop throughout the year. We want to hear about the lessons that went really well, or changes you might want to make for next time.

Here is a link to another one of our Hero bloggers, Dylan Smith at Waianae Intermediate.

And another of our teaching heroes Kerri Schweibert at Assets School in Honolulu passed along three entries from the first few days of the year in her classroom. The audio is a little low in the first video, but excellent in the following two. Remember to use those open-back cases for the GoPro!

We are off and running!

Aloha Teaching Heroes!

I hope the new school year has started off well, and that you are having fun with your diary entries! As always please let Michael (cawdery@hawaii.edu), or myself (davidfry@hawaii.edu) know if you are having any problems or have any questions. We are more than happy to help.

So far we have a few Bloggers getting off to a great start. If you would like to see what your colleagues are doing, here are links to their entries:

Welcome to the GoPro Teacher Diary Project

Welcome to the Associate in Arts in Teaching (AAT) GoPro Project! Thank you all for participating, we are excited to be able to share your knowledge, and experience as a teacher in Hawaii with our students. The short video above includes some tips about the equipment you will be receiving.

On the menu above you will also see links for more information about the project, suggestions for content you can post, tips on using YouTube, your GoPro, and how to use Blogger. Once you have a chance to create your blog, please make sure to email us the link so we can connect it to this page, and view your posts.

At any point if you have any questions or issues please don't hesitate to contact me, David Fry (davidfry@hawaii.edu), or Michael Cawdery (cawdery@hawaii.edu). We are happy to help, and looking forward to working with all of you!
